Dr John Zois graduated from The University of Melbourne and continued his postgraduate training in anaesthesia at The Royal Melbourne Hospital where he also completed a 6 month trauma anaesthesia fellowship.

He is currently working as a specialist anaesthetist at The Northern Hospital and in private practice.

His current practice mix includes Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Orthopaedics, General and Emergency Surgery, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecological surgery, Urology, Opthalmological surgery and Day Surgery anaesthesia.

Dr Zois is regularly involved in the teaching of trainee anaesthetists and has a strong interest in airway management, participating regularly as an instructor in airway courses in Australia and overseas. He is an active participant of the continuing professional development program of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and is a member of the Australian Medical Association and the Australian Society of Anaesthetists.
